BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chairperson ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson; and ) March 31, 1994 F.C. Leighton, Commissioner ) ORDER WHEREAS: A. On March 16, 1994 Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. ("PNG") applied to the Commission for approval to recover the costs of a refueling probe retrofit program for natural gas for vehicles ("NGV") required by Directive No. D-C-49 of the Gas Safety Branch of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs ("the Application"); and B. The Application states that the costs of the program will be $47,421 and proposes recovery of these costs plus interest calculated at PNG's actual monthly short-term borrowing rate by way of a rider to NGV (Rate Schedule 7) customers over a three-year period; and C. By Order No. G-131-93 dated December 24, 1993, the Commission approved a similar application filed by BC Gas Utility Ltd.; and D. The Commission, has reviewed the Application and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders PNG as follows: 1. The Application is approved. 2.
