Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) December 7, 1995 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On October] 9, 1995 Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. ("PNG") applied to the Commission for approval of 1995/96 pricing amendments to long-term Gas Purchase Contracts with Czar Resources Ltd. ("Czar") and Talisman Energy Inc. ("Talisman"); and B. On November 7 and 9, 1995 PNG applied to the Commission for approval of a seasonal Gas Supply Contract with Mobil Natural Gas Canada Ltd. ("Mobil ") for the period November 1995 through March 1996, and a second seasonal contract covering the period December 1995 through February 1996; and C. The Commission has reviewed the gas supply contracts and amendments and finds that they should be approved. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 85.3 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Rules, the Commission approves the following gas purchase contracts and amendments for PNG: I. Letter Agreement dated September 28, 1995 with Czar which establishes NYMEX based prices for the 1995/96 gas contract year under the October 28, 1991 Gas Purchase Contract. 2. Letter Agreement dated September 28, 1995 with Talisman which establishes NYMEX based prices for the 1995/96 gas contract year under the October 24, 1991 Gas Purchase Contract. 3. Seasonal Gas Purchase Contracts with Mobil for 6,000 GJ/day for the period November 1995 through March 1996, and 2,000 GJ/day for the period December 1995 through February 1996. 4. PNG is to file, in a timely fashion, the fully executed forms of the gas purchase contracts approved by this Order.
