Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) November 9, 1995 ORDER WHEREAS: A. Section 85.3 of the Utilities Commission Act ("the Act") requires that Energy Supply Contracts between producers and consumers be filed with the Commission for approval; and B. On October 27 and 31, 1995 Mobil Oil Canada ("Mobil") filed with the Commission for approval an Electric Service Contract ("the Agreement") dated October 31, 1995 between Mobil and PTI Camp Services (ifPTI") for the supply of electricity to PTI's camp facilities in northeastern British Columbia; and C. The Agreement provides for the supply of up to 225 kVA of power covering the period November 1, 1995 to October 31, 1996 and continuing each year thereafter subject to Mobil advising the customer, PTI, of changes in price to the Agreement; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Agreement and supporting documentation and is satisfied that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: Pursuant to Section 85.3 of the Act, the Electric Service Contract dated October 31, 1995 between Mobil and PTI for the supply of electricity to PTI's camp facilities in northeastern B.C. for an initial period of one year and continuing each year thereafter, is approved.
