The Corporation of the City of Nelson ("the City") applied on February 20, 1995, by way of Electrical Utility Regulatory Amendment By-Law No. 2693 ("the By-Law") for Commission approval of changes to the Terms and Conditions contained in the City's Electrical Utility Regulatory By-Law No. 2020, 1983, applicable to electric service rendered by the City in its service to the area effective January 1, 1995; and B. The amendments contained in the By-Law will allow applicants for electric service to establish credit to the satisfaction of the City Collector rather than paying a required security deposit; and C. The By-Law corrects a typographical error contained in Schedule C-l - General Service Rates - Urban; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting material and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission accepts for filing, effective January 1, 1995, the amendments contained in The Corporation of the City of Nelson, Electrical Utility Regulatory Amendment By-Law No. 2693, 1995. 2. The City, by way of Customer Notice, is to inform all customers of the changes to credit and security deposit policy.
