Jaccard, Chairperson; ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner; and ) October 12, 1995 F.C. Leighton, Commissioner ) ORDER WHEREAS: A. On July 11, 1995 and August 24, 1995 respectively, the B.C. Energy Coalition ("Energy Coalition") and the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre ("BCPIAC") applied to the Commission for Participant Funding Cost Awards for the Phase II hearing into the Reconsideration Decision for British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority as it relates to legal issues concerning Integrated Resource Planning ("IRP"); and B. The Energy Coalition's application relates to the costs incurred for ten preparation days and one hearing day in making its written submission and oral argument on the reconsideration. BCPIAC's application includes three preparation days and two hearing days in making its written submission and oral argument on the reconsideration; and C. On June 27, 1995 the Commission issued Order No. F-7-95 which incorrectly funded the Energy Coalition's earlier cost claim under Section 133.1(2) of the Utilities Commission Act ("the Act"); and D. The Commission has reviewed the requests having regard to the funding criteria and approved reimbursement rates set out in Order No. G-117-93. .../2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 133.1(1) of the Act and the above-noted proceeding, awards funds including fees, taxes and disbursements in the amounts of $11,341.15 to the Energy Coalition and $5,466.01 to BCPIAC. 2. Pursuant to Section 133.1(1) of the Act B.C. Hydro is directed to pay to the Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs $4,913.10, such funds to be directed to the reimbursement of the Commission's participant funding account.
