ROBERT J. PELLATT COMMISSION SECRETARY To: INTERESTED PARTIES Re: Negotiated Settlement Process and BCUC Policy, Procedures and Guidelines The Commission wishes to thank all of those who contributed advice, comments or material to both Mr. Kenneth Duke's report of March 1995 on the ADR process and to the Commission's Policy, Procedures and Guidelines for its Negotiated Settlement Process. Approximately 150 persons participated in this important development over the course of the past eighteen months. The Negotiated Settlement Process will improve the efficiency of our processes and will be effective in meeting our responsibilities under the Utilities Commission Act. The process will evolve and must be sensitive to the need for changes. We continue to encourage comments and suggestions and enclose a copy of the publication.
