Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) September 7, 1995 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On August 21, 1995 BC Gas Utility Ltd. ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval to pass-through to all Revelstoke grid system customers an increase in the price of liquid propane purchased from Imperial Oil Limited ("Imperial Oil") effective September 1, 1995. The one-year propane supply contract was approved by Order No. E-20-95; and B. BC Gas also applied for approval to set a new reference price of $0.1172/litre for propane, effective September 1, 1995, for use in the Revelstoke Propane Cost Deferral Account and in its Gas Tariff Rate Schedules; and C. The Commission has considered the Application and is satisfied that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for BC Gas - Inland Division and the Revelstoke Propane Grid System the following: (i) A new reference price for propane of $0.1 172/litre effective September 1, 1995 for use in the Revelstoke Propane Cost Deferral Account. (ii) A pass-through increase of $0.098/GJ to all Revelstoke Propane Grid System customers resulting from increased liquid propane costs in the Imperial Oil energy supply contract, effective September 1, 1995, pursuant to Section 67(4) of the Utilities Commission Act.
