Hall, Commissioner; and ) F.e. Leighton, Commissioner ) August 30, 1995 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On April 28, 1995 Kanelk Transmission Company Limited ("Kanelk") applied to the Commission for approval of rates on an interim basis, pursuant to Section 106 of the Utilities Commission Act (lithe Act"), and on a permanent basis pursuant to Section 64 of the Act, for transmission and other services provided by or through Kanelk to British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.e. Hydro") effective June 1, 1995; and B. The Commission, by Order No. G-45-95, approved interim rates for Kanelk for transmission and other services and set the Application down for public hearing to commence September 6, 1995, in Vancouver, B.C.; and e. As a result of Pre-hearing conferences held on June 19, 1995 and August 23, 1995 the Commission requires the public hearing to be rescheduled. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The public hearing into the Application is rescheduled to commence Tuesday, September 5, 1995, at 10:00 a.m. in the Commission's Hearing Room located at the 6th Floor, 900 Howe Street, Vancouver, B.C. V6Z 2N3. The hearing on September 5, 1995, shall be restricted to oral arguments on the following matters: • B.e. Hydro's motion for an adjournment of the date for commencing the hearing into the merits of the Application; and • the arguments as to the Commission's jurisdiction over this Application.
