Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) January 12, 1995 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On December 22, 1994 BC Gas Utility Ltd. ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval of new deferral accounts regarding certain costs relating to its Integrated Resource Plan ("IRP") and Demand-Side Management ("DSM") programs with respect to spending in 1995; and B. The new programs for approval relate to the further design and development of residential and commercial DSM options; development and operation of computer models for end-use forecasting; DSM analysis and optimizing supply-demand resource portfolios; development and filing of BC Gas' next IRP document; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: The Commission approves for BC Gas 1994 and 1995 deferral accounts relating to the following incremental IRP and DSM programs: 1994 1995 • Residential DSM Analysis $ $100,000 • Commercial DSM Analysis 165,000 • End Use Models 7,000 65,000 • DSM Data Analysis (DAS) Models 20,000 • Resource Optimization (ROM) Model 15,000 • 1995 IRP Report DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this day of January, 1995.
