On NovemberÊ18, 1994 the Commission, by Order No.ÊG-88-94, approved for Pacific Northern Gas Ltd.Ê(ÒPNGÓ) a deferral account to capture up to $70,000 of costs associated with the utilityÕs commitment to the joint Provincial government/utility residential energy conservation program referred to as the BCÊ21 Power Smart ProgramÊ(Òthe ProgramÓ); and B. On MayÊ17, 1996 PNG applied to the Commission for approval of an extension to the Program deferral account as a result of increased government funding up to an additional $17,662 to be amortized over five years commencing JanuaryÊ1, 1997; and C. The Commission has considered the application and is satisfied that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: The Commission approves for PNG the spending of an additional $17,662 of costs and deferral account treatment for the BCÊ21 Power Smart Program that will be amortized over 5Êyears commencing JanuaryÊ1, 1997.
