On November 28, 1995 Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. - West Division ("PNG") and Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. - Dawson Creek and Tumbler Ridge Divisions ["PNGÊ(N.E.)"] applied to the Commission, pursuant to Sections 64 andÊ106 of the Utilities Commission Act, for approval to amend its Gas Tariff rate schedules on an interim and permanent basis effective JanuaryÊ1, 1996 ("the Application"); and B. The Commission issued Order No.ÊG-117-95 which approved for PNG and PNGÊ(N.E.) the interim rate changes effective January 1, 1996, subject to refund or reimbursement to affected customers, with interest, set the public hearing into the Application to commence on Monday, April 1, 1996 in a location to be announced later based on the locality and interest of registered intervenors, and scheduled a pre-hearing conference on JanuaryÊ31, 1996 in the Commission's Hearing Room. NOW THEREFORE the Commission has considered the input of participants in the JanuaryÊ31, 1996 pre-hearing conference and orders PNG and PNG(N.E.) as follows: 1. PNG is to file an update to its Application by FebruaryÊ12, 1996. 2. The review of the PNG(N.E.) Dawson Creek and Tumbler Ridge parts of the Application are to be dealt with by the Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") process starting at 2:30Êp.m., MarchÊ25, 1996 in the Commission's Board Room located on the 6th Floor, 900 Howe Street, Vancouver, B.C. 3. The public hearing into the PNG part of the Application will commence at 9:00Êa.m. on AprilÊ9, 1996 in the Commission's Hearing Room, 6th Floor, 900 Howe Street, Vancouver, B.C. 4. PNG and PNG(N.E.) are to publish a Notice in the Vancouver Sun, the Province and in local newspapers in its service areas advising the public of the change in the date of the public hearing and the setting of the venue for both the ADR process and the public hearing. PNG will provide the Commission with a copy of the Notice for review in advance of publication.
