Barr, Deputy Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) May 29, 1996 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On MayÊ23, 1996 Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. ("Centra Gas") filed with the Commission for approval, amendments to Gas Tariff Rate Schedules and rates for natural gas distribution service to retail customers located on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast served pursuant to the Special Direction and under the terms of the Vancouver Island Natural Gas Pipeline Act; and B. Pursuant to the Special Direction, Centra Gas surveyed competitive fuel oil markets on Vancouver Island and reported that a change in rates charged to Pioneer Customers, under its Closed Rate Schedules, requires an increase effective JuneÊ1, 1996; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that approval to amend rates for natural gas service to Pioneer Customers is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders Centra Gas as follows: 1. The Commission approves and accepts for filing for Centra Gas, rates for natural gas service to Pioneer Customers effective JuneÊ1, 1996 as follows: Sixth Revision of PageÊ1 - Small General Service Rate No.Ê1 (SGS-1) (Closed) Eighth Revision of PageÊ2 - Small General Service Rate No.Ê2 (SGS-2) (Closed) Seventh Revision of PageÊ3 - Large General Service Rate No.Ê1 (LGS-1) (Closed) Seventh Revision of PageÊ4 - Large General Service Rate No.Ê2 (LGS-2) (Closed) Fifth Revision of PageÊ5 - Large General Service Rate No.Ê3 (LGS-3) (Closed) Seventh Revision of PageÊ6 - Competitive Range Rate (CRR) Thirteenth Revision of PageÊ7 - Apartment/Multi-Family Dwelling Rate (ACR) (Closed) 2.
