Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) June 7, 1996 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On May 24, 1996 West Kootenay Power Ltd. ("WKP") applied to the Commission for approval of amendments to the Electric Tariff, Terms and Conditions of Service covering Security Deposits and Customer Contributions, Rate ScheduleÊ80 - Charges for Connection or Reconnection of Service, Transfer of Account, Testing of Meters and Various Custom Work, and Rate ScheduleÊ82 - Charges for Installation of New/Upgraded Services; and B. The amendments to the security deposit section will allow WKP to be consistent with other utilities in the province. The changes to voltages supplied corrects an error in the supply configuration. The change to Rate ScheduleÊ80 - Collection Charge will allow WKP to collect a fee from customers where Company representatives attach a disconnection notice twice in one year. Changes to Rate ScheduleÊ82 correct an ambiguity in the current tariff concerning the installation of new services; and C. The Commission has considered the amendments to the Electric Tariff and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: The Commission approves for WKP the amendments to the Electric Tariff, effective immediately, as follows: ¥ First Revision of Sheets C, D, E and G - Terms and Conditions ¥ Second Revision of Sheet 51 - Rate Schedule 80 - Charges for Connection or Reconnection of Service, Transfer of Account, Testing of Meters and Various Custom Work ¥ Second Revision of Sheet 52 - Rate Schedule 82 - Charges for Installation of New/Upgraded Services.
