Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) February 14, 1996 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On September 30 1995 the British Columbia. Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro") filed its preliminary 1995 Integrated Resource Plan ("the IRP"); and B. On November 6, 1995 B.C. Hydro filed the final 1995 IRP with Appendices; and C. On December 15, 1995, the Commission issued a timetable for the review of the B.C. Hydro IRP, including provision for Information Requests to B.C. Hydro; and D. The Independent Power Association of British Columbia ("IPABC") made Information Requests with respect to the IRP; and E. By way of letter dated February 12, 1996 the IPABC complained that the material supplied in response to QuestionÊ3.2 was inadequate to allow a determination to be made as to whether the analysis conducted for the Stave Falls redevelopment project conformed to social benefit - cost principles. The IPABC requested that the Commission order B.C. Hydro to reply to supplementary questions attached to this letter; and F. By way of letter dated February 13, 1996, B.C. Hydro presented argument as to why such an Order should not be issued; and .../2
2 G. The Commission reviewed the Information Requests and the answers provided. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders B.C. Hydro to respond to the questions attached to the letter from the IPABC to the Commission dated February 12, 1996 in as timely as fashion as possible.
