On September 9, 1996 Natural Resource Industries ("NRI") filed an application for a participant funding cost award in the amount of $251.90 to recover costs expended in preparing for the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro") Integrated Resource Plan ("IRP") public hearing which did not proceed; and B. The Commission has determined that NRI's preparation work for the B.C. Hydro IRP proceeding qualifies for reimbursement in accordance with Commission approved guidelines; and C. The Commission discussed the claim having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No. G-117-93. NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 133.1 (2) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to NRI in the amount of $251.90.
