("Yo ho") Interconnection and Acquisition of Yoho Power Utility Customers We enclose a copy of a September 20, 1996 letter from Y oho to the Commission and our response Letter No. L-42-96. The Commission requests B.C. Hydro to make an application to extend its integrated system to Field, B.C. and commence charging for electricity to customers in Yoho National Park. The application should be concurrent with that of Yoho's application to cease operations and dispose of its assets. The Commission understands that B.C. Hydro plans to levy a surcharge to Yoho's former customers. Please note that an application for a tariff variance for such surcharge will also require Commission approval. Commission staff would like to meet with B.C. Hydro and Yoho staff to discuss the proposed applications well in advance of connection.
