Barr, Deputy Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ORDER WHEREAS: A. On July 4, 1996 the Commission issued Order No. G-73-96 and on July 19, 1996 its Reasons for Decision on the West Kootenay Power Ltd. ("WKP") 1996 Revenue Requirement Application; and B. On July 19, 1996 the Electrical Contractors Association of British Columbia ("ECABC") filed an application for participant funding cost award with respect to their participation in the negotiated settlement process; and C. The Panel determined that one half-day per negotiated settlement day and hearing day would be used to calculate the number of preparation days. The contribution toward legal fees would therefore be a total of 7 days, made up of 3 negotiation days, 1 hearing day and 3 preparation days, to be paid at the rate of $800 per day; and D. The Panel discussed the claim having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No. G-I17-93. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section \33.1 (1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to the ECABC in the amount of $7,890.88. 2. WKP is directed to reimburse the ECABC the total cost award in a timely manner.
