Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ORDER WHEREAS: A. On July 17, 1996 the Commission issued its Decision and Order No. G-76-96 into the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro") Industrial Service Options Application; and B. Requests for participant funding cost awards were received on June 19, 1966 and June 20, 1996 from the B.C. Energy Coalition and the Public Interest Advocacy Centre ("CAC(B.C.)"), respectively; and C. The Commission Panel reviewed the claims having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No. G 117-93. It was agreed that where the Commission chose to make a contribution towards legal fees, it would do so at a rate of $800 per hearing day of attendance, $800 per preparation day assumed to be incurred at a rate of 1 preparation day per 2 days of hearing attendance, and 1 day for final argument. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: I. Pursuant to Section 133.1 (l) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds in the total amount of $33,626.10 as follows: B.C. Energy Coalition CAC (B.C.) et al 2. The above-noted awards are to be paid by B.C. Hydro.
