Jaccard, Chairperson; and L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ORDER WHEREAS: A. On October 29, 1996 the Association for the Advancement of Sustainable Energy Policy ("AASEP") filed with the Commission an application for a participant assistance cost award with respect to its participation in the BC Gas Utility Ltd. ("BC Gas") 1996 Rate Design and Service Line Cost Allowance Applications workshops, pre-hearing conference and public hearing; and B. The Panel discussed the claim having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No. G-l 03-96; and C. The Panel has determined that AASEP's participation in the proceedings requires reimbursement III accordance with Commission approved guidelines. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 133.1(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards costs in the amount of $42,609 to AASEP for its participation in the aforementioned proceedings. The cost award is to be paid by BC Gas in a timely manner.
