Branch) in the West Kootenay Power Ltd. 1996 Revenue Requirements Application BEFORE: L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) October 3, 1996 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On July 4, 1996 the Commission issued Order No. G-73-96 and on July 19, 1996 its Reasons for Decision on the West Kootenay Power Ltd. ("WKP") 1996 Revenue Requirements Application; and B. On September 23, 1996 the Consumers' Association of Canada (B.C. Branch) ("CAC (B.C.) et al") filed an amended application for a participant funding cost award pursuant to Commission Letter No. L-38-96, with respect to its participation in the workshop concerning WKP's application; and C. The Panel has determined that the CAC (B.C.) et al partIcIpation in the proceedings requires reimbursement in accordance with Commission approved guidelines; and D. The Panel discussed the claim having regard to the criteria and rates as set out in Order No. G-l 17-93. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: I. Pursuant to Section 133.1(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to the CAC (B.C.) et al in the amount of $23,948.65. 2. WKP is directed to reimburse the CAC (B.C.) et al the total cost award in a timely manner. DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this day of October, 1996.
