Shared Services Costs with Westcoast Energy Inc. BEFORE: K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) August 27, 1997 P.G. Bradley, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. The Commission, by Order No.ÊG-21-97, approved for Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. ("PNG") the Negotiated Settlement into its 1997 Revenue Requirements Application. The Negotiated Settlement allowed for the issue of shared services between PNG and Westcoast Energy Inc. ("WEI") to be dealt with through a workshop and/or a written/oral public hearing process; and B. Through a written hearing process, which included submissions from Registered Intervenors, the Commission issued its Decision on the PNG/WEI Shared Services Costs on AugustÊ7, 1997; and C. On AugustÊ13, 1997 the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre ("BCPIAC") submitted its application for participant assistance regarding the PNG/WEI shared services costs proceeding; and D. The Commission discussed the application for participant assistance having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No.ÊG-103-96; and E. The Commission has determined that BCPIAC's participation in this matter requires reimbursement in accordance with approved guidelines. NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission orders PNG to reimburse BCPIAC in the total amount of $6,399.28 relating to the PNG/WEI Shared Services Costs proceeding.
