The Commission, by Order No.ÊG-85-97, approved for BCÊGas Utility Ltd.Ê("BCÊGas") its 1998-2000 Revenue Requirements by way of a Negotiated Settlement Agreement. Following the Negotiated Settlement a series of separate negotiating meetings were held to review BCÊGas' gas cost incentive plan which was to expire on NovemberÊ1, 1997; and B. The parties negotiated a settlement with respect to BCÊGas' gas cost incentive plan for the 1997/98 gas contract year. Commission Order No.ÊG-125-97 approved for BCÊGas the 1997/98 Gas Supply Mitigation Incentive ProgramÊ("GSMIP"); and C. On DecemberÊ1, 1997, the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy CentreÊ("BCPIAC") applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the BCÊGas GSMIP proceeding; and D. The Commission has determined that participation by BCPIAC in the GSMIP proceeding requires reimbursement in accordance with Commission approved guidelines; and E. The Commission has discussed the claim having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No.ÊG-103-96.
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to SectionÊ118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCPIAC in the amount of $2,329.63 for its participation in the BC Gas - Gas Supply Mitigation Incentive proceeding. 2. BCÊGas is directed to reimburse BCPIAC for the total amount awarded in a timely fashion. DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this ÊÊÊÊ7thÊÊÊÊÊÊday of January, 1998.
