Hall, Commissioner ) F.C. Leighton, Commissioner ) September 4, 1997 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On AugustÊ1, 1997 Trans Mountain Enterprises of British Columbia Limited ("TME") applied to the Commission, pursuant to SectionÊ44 of the Pipeline Act ("the Act"), for approval of a 14.6Êpercent increase in its Tolls on the Jet Fuel Pipeline effective JulyÊ1, 1997 ("the Application"); and B. The Application is required as a result of an estimated 9.4Êpercent drop in throughput for 1997, an increase in operating expenses and income taxes and, an increase in the approved 1997 Return on Equity to 10.67Êpercent previously estimated to be 10.5Êpercent which was reflected in Commission Order No.ÊP-2-97; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that a decision on TME's 1997 tolls is required. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves, pursuant to SectionÊ44 of the Act, a 14.6Êpercent increase in tolls on the TME Jet Fuel Pipeline effective JulyÊ1, 1997. 2. TME is to provide all shippers on the Jet Fuel Pipeline with a copy of this Order and approved tolls.
