Barr, Deputy Chair ) and Acting Chair ) November 27, 1997 K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On November 17, 1997, BCÊGas Utility Ltd. (ÒBC GasÓ) filed for Commission approval ten Rate ScheduleÊ14 Sales Agreements for Term and Spot Gas Sales with industrial customers, effective for the period December 1, 1997 to October 31, 1998; and B. The ten sales agreements are based on the Sumas Daily Index plus a $0.02 per GJ premium. All contracts contain a provision which will allow customers to switch to a monthly index or final price option. All prices including the fixed price option are based on reported market prices; and C. The Commission has reviewed the filing and finds that the Rate Schedule 14 Sales Agreements are required to be approved. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for BCÊGas the ten Rate ScheduleÊ14 Sales Agreements, for the 1997/98 gas contract year, commencing DecemberÊ1, 1997, as contained in the BC Gas filing dated November 17, 1997, subject to timely filing of the fully executed Sales Agreements in standard Tariff Supplement format.
