PELLATT '/~ COMMISSION SECRETARY /12'8 .~~~~'\ Mr. David Shebib General Delivery Bella Coola B.C. VOT 1CO Dear Mr. Shebib: Re: Central Coast Power Corporation ("CCPC") Complaint Regarding Refusal of Service Connection The Commission has reviewed your September 15, 1997 complaint and CCPC's September 25, 1997 submissions regarding CCPC's refusal to reconnect power to your residence and advises as follows. Commission regulated utilities follow approved tariffs which require the person who contracts for service to be responsible for that account. Furthermore, no utility is required to connect, or reconnect, a person whose bills are in default. As you have failed to either notify CCPC to cancel your account or to pay the outstanding balance, the Commission has determined that CCPC's refusal to reconnect service to your residence is in accordance with approved tariffs.
