On JulyÊ17, 1996 the Commission issued Order No.ÊG-76-96 and its Decision on the British Columbia Hydro and Power AuthorityÊ(ÒB.C.ÊHydroÓ) Industrial Service Options Application which approved Real Time PricingÊ(ÒRTPÓ) Rate ScheduleÊ1848 for a one-year trial period ending JulyÊ17, 1997; and B. On MarchÊ12, 1997 B.C.ÊHydro applied to the Commission for approval of a Supplementary Agreement with Louisiana-Pacific Canada Ltd. (ÒLPCÓ) for access to the RTP Electric Tariff Rate ScheduleÊ1848 for its pulp mill near Chetwynd,ÊB.C. for the period MarchÊ15,Ê1997 to JulyÊ16, 1997. The Commission approved the Agreement and issued Order No.ÊG-28-97; and C. On May 9, 1997 B.C.ÊHydro and LPC agreed on a new Supplementary Agreement which allowed for a revised base load with the same percentage CBL reduction; and D. The Commission has reviewed the May 9, 1997 Supplementary Agreement and finds that it satisfies the criteria contained in Rate ScheduleÊ1848 and the CommissionÕs Decision. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for B.C.ÊHydro the May 9, 1997 Supplementary Agreement with LPC for RTP access effective May 15, 1997 and continuing to JulyÊ16, 1997.
