On February 27, 1997 and by Order No.ÊG-21-97, the Commission approved for Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (ÒPNGÓ) a Negotiated Settlement of its 1997 Revenue Requirements; and B. The Negotiated Settlement allowed the issue of shared services costs between Westcoast Energy Inc. (ÒWEIÓ) and PNG to be dealt with through a workshop and/or a written/oral public hearing process; and C. The Coopers and Lybrand Study ("the Study") was sent to PNG, Commission staff and Intervenors on FebruaryÊ14, 1997, which was followed by a Workshop on MarchÊ13, 1997. The Workshop participants agreed that a written public hearing process would follow; and D. The Commission concluded that a written process on PNG's shared services with WEI was required and by Order No. G-33-97 set down a timetable for participant submissions, subsequently revised by Order No.ÊG-51-97. Participants were required to make written submissions to the responses to the information requests on or before May 22, 1997 and reply evidence to the submissions was to be filed on or before June 4, 1997; and E. Written submissions and reply evidence were filed by the participants in accordance with Order No.ÊG-51-97; and . . ./2
2 F. The Commission has considered the Study and the submissions of the participants and concludes that a Decision on the shared services costs between WEI and PNG is required. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders PNG to comply with the directions and cost allocations incorporated in the PNG Shared Services Decision issued concurrently with this Order.
