Ostergaard, Chair ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair ) July 23, 1998 K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On July 20, 1998, Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. (ÒCentra GasÓ) filed with the Commission a Peaking Natural Gas Supply Contract with IGI Resources Inc. (ÒIGIÓ) for the supply of gas for the period August 1, 1998 to March 31, 1999, that will be used to meet Centra GasÕ increasing peak-day demands; and B. The Letter Agreement, dated July 15, 1998, will provide Centra Gas with a peaking gas supply of 5,275ÊGJ/day from IGIÕs natural gas storage areas; and C. The Commission has reviewed the filing and finds that the Peaking Natural Gas Supply Agreement with IGI is in accordance with the Utilities Commission Act (Òthe ActÓ). NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 71 of the Act and the Rules, the Commission accepts for filing for Centra Gas the July 16, 1998 Letter Agreement with IGI that provides for 5,275ÊGJ/day of peaking natural gas supply for the period August 1, 1998 to March 31, 1999.
