On NovemberÊ14, 1997 Centra Gas British Columbia Inc.Ê("CentraÊGas") filed for Commission approval, pursuant to Section 60 of the Utilities Commission Act, Special Direction by Order in Council No.Ê1510, 1995, and under the terms of the Vancouver Island Natural Gas Pipeline Act, an application to amend its schedule of rates to natural gas customers located on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast; and B. Centra Gas advised that Rate RiderÊB, approved by Order No.ÊG-62-97, should be terminated for the Large General ServiceÊ("LGS") One and Two classes of customers effective DecemberÊ1, 1997, because the full recovery of the deferred revenue from these customers has substantially occurred; and C. The Commission has reviewed the NovemberÊ14, 1997 application and finds that approval of the DecemberÊ1, 1997 termination of Rate RiderÊB for LGS-1 and LGS-2 customers is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The termination of Rate RiderÊB for LGS-1 and LGS-2 customers, effective DecemberÊ1, 1997, is approved. 2. Centra Gas is to advise all affected customers of the termination of Rate RiderÊB, effective DecemberÊ1, 1997, by way of customer notice.
