On October 23, 1998, BC Gas Utility Ltd. (“BC Gas”) applied to the Commission for approval of a September 28, 1998 Letter Agreement with CanWest Gas Supply Inc. (“CanWest”) that amends the October 28, 1996 CanWest Agreement and establishes prices for the 1998/99 gas contract year for the Fort Nelson service area; and B. The Off-Line Gas Purchase Agreement is used by CanWest to meet the Fort Nelson Division’s gas supply requirements; and C. The Commission has reviewed the application and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission accepts for filing, pursuant to Section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Rules respecting Energy Supply Contracts, the September 28, 1998 Letter Agreement with CanWest, which amends the CanWest Agreement and establishes prices for the supply of 100 10 (3,745 GJ/day) of gas, under the October 28, 1996 Gas Supply Contract for the 1998/99 gas contract year.
