Ostergaard, Chair ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) February 19, 1998 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On FebruaryÊ11, 1998 BC Gas Utility Ltd. ("BCÊGas") filed for Commission approval, as a Rate ScheduleÊ22 Tariff Supplement, an Agreement dated NovemberÊ1, 1997 with Shell Canada Products Limited ("Shell Canada") to be effective JanuaryÊ1, 1998; and B. The Agreement sets out delivery charges for Rate ScheduleÊ22 firm transportation service commencing JanuaryÊ1, 1998, at rates which are generally consistent with those approved under Rate ScheduleÊ25 for 1998, including appropriate rate riders; and C. The Commission has reviewed the filing and finds that approval is appropriate and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for BCÊGas the NovemberÊ1, 1997 Agreement with Shell Canada for Rate ScheduleÊ22 Firm Transportation Service, effective JanuaryÊ1, 1998. 2. The Commission directs BCÊGas to make the Delivery Charges in AppendixÊA of the Tariff Supplement equal to the corresponding charges in Rate ScheduleÊ25, including appropriate rate riders, both for 1998, and as Rate ScheduleÊ25 rates may change over the duration of the Tariff Supplement. 3. BCÊGas is to file, in appropriate Tariff Supplement format, the amended Rate ScheduleÊ22 Agreement with Shell Canada.
