The Commission, by Order No. G-114-97, approved for British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (ÒB.C. HydroÓ) its revised Real Time Pricing (ÒRTPÓ) Application effective November 18, 1997. The RTP Supplementary Agreements, in effect for CBL reduction customers, were extended for six months from the date of Order No.ÊG-114-97, to expire on May 18, 1998; and B. The Commission, by Order No. G-47-98, approved a May 5, 1998 B.C. Hydro application to extend the Supplementary Agreements to CBL reduction customers to June 18, 1998; and C. On June 5, 1998, B.C. Hydro applied to the Commission to modify the definition of the terms ÒCBLÊDemandÓ and ÒCBL EnergyÓ, contained in Clause (1)(d) of the RTP Supplementary Agreements with CBL reduction customers, and to extend the expiry date of existing RTP Supplementary Agreements to December 18, 1998; and D. On June 9, 1998, the Commission requested that B.C. Hydro canvass the views of CBL reduction customers and respond to the Commission on the extension of the expiry date and proposed changes to the definitions contained in the RTP Supplementary Agreements. B.C. Hydro responded on JuneÊ24, 1998; and E. The Commission received a number of responses, all generally in support of the B.C. Hydro application. . . ./2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for B.C. Hydro the June 5, 1998 application to extend the expiry date of RTP Supplementary Agreements with CBL reduction customers to December 18, 1998. 2. The Commission denies B.C. HydroÕs application to revise the definitions of CBL Demand and CBL Energy contained in ClauseÊ(1)(d) of the RTP Supplementary Agreements. 3. B.C. Hydro is to inform all affected customers of the extension to the expiry date of the RTP Supplementary Agreements to December 18, 1998.
