On January 19, 1998, The British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre ("BCPIAC") applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the BC Gas Utility Ltd. ("BC Gas") 1997 Annual Review of its 1998 to 2002 Revenue Requirements Application; and B. The Commission has determined that BCPIAC's participation in the BC Gas proceeding requires reimbursement in accordance with approved guidelines; and C. The Commission has discussed the claim having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-103-96. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCPIAC in the amount of $1,787.73 for its participation in the 1997 Annual Review of the BC Gas 1998 to 2002 Revenue Requirements proceeding. 2.
