Ostergaard, Chair ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On March 24, 1998, Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. ("Centra Gas") filed with the Commission a Natural Gas Storage Agreement with Unocal Canada Inc. ("Unocal") and an amendment to its Transportation Agreement with Westcoast Energy Inc. ("WEI"); and B. The Unocal Natural Gas Storage Agreement provides for the acquisition of 134.7 10 capacity for a total of 362.9 10 3 m 3 /day, from the Aitken Creek Storage Facility, for the period AprilÊ1, 1998 to MarchÊ31, 2003; and C. The Transportation Agreement with WEI provides for the acquisition of 160 10 ("T South") transportation. The Transportation Agreement is for the period NovemberÊ1, 1998 to OctoberÊ31, 2010; and D. The Commission has reviewed the filing and finds that the Natural Gas Storage and Transportation Agreements are in accordance with the Act. NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to SectionÊ71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Rules, the Commission accepts for filing the following Agreements for Centra Gas: 1. Natural Gas Storage Agreement with Unocal dated MarchÊ16, 1998 for the acquisition, from the Aitken Creek Storage Facility, of 134.7 10 3 m 3 /day of new capacity for a total 362.9 10 AprilÊ1, 1998 to MarchÊ31, 2003.
