On June 24, 1998, Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited (ÒPLPÓ) applied, pursuant to SectionÊ56(1) of the Act, for Commission approval of a deferral account to amortize expenditures relating to a test site for Ôtime-of-useÕ technology research and development (Òthe ProjectÓ); and B. The total amount of the deferral account is $37,717 to be amortized over a 36-month period. The funds relate to PLPÕs participation in the Project, with the Princeton & District Community Skills Training Centre, which is designed to develop energy efficient products and to train trades people how to implement and make use of time-of-use, load shifting and load reducing strategies; and C. The Commission has reviewed the application and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for PLP a deferral account in the total amount of $37,717 to be amortized over a 36-month period, relating to the utilityÕs participation in the Project.
