Ostergaard, Chair ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair ) March 19, 1998 P.G. Bradley, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. The Commission, by Order No.ÊG-62-97, approved for Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. ("Centra Gas"), Rate RiderÊB for the recovery of deferred revenue from the Pioneer Customer classes effective JuneÊ1, 1997, pursuant to the Special Direction and under terms of the Vancouver Island Natural Gas Pipeline Act; and B. On March 12, 1998, Centra Gas applied to the Commission pursuant to SectionÊ60 of the Utilities Commission Act, to terminate Rate RiderÊB for the Large General Service LGS-3 rate class effective AprilÊ1, 1998, as the recovery of the deferred revenue attributable to this class of customers had substantially occurred by the end of March, 1998; and C. The Commission has reviewed the March 12, 1998 Centra Gas application and finds that the schedule of rates for Pioneer Customers should be amended effective AprilÊ1, 1998. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for Centra Gas, the termination of Rate RiderÊB for Pioneer Customers in the LGS-3 rate class effective April 1, 1998, as the recovery of the deferred revenue attributable to this class of customers has substantially occurred. 2. Centra Gas is to advise all affected customers of the decrease in rates to the LGS-3 rate schedules of the Utility.
