On October 31, 1999, BC Gas Utility Ltd. (“BC Gas”) applied to the Commission for approval of an October 31, 1999 Letter Agreement with CanWest Gas Supply Inc. (“CanWest”) that amends the October 28, 1996 CanWest Gas Purchase Contract and establishes prices for the 1999/2000 gas contract year for the Fort Nelson service area; and B. The Commission has reviewed the application and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Rules respecting Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts for filing the October 31, 1999 Letter Agreement with CanWest, which amends the October 28, 1996 CanWest Gas Purchase Contract and establishes prices for the supply of approximately 100.27 10 3 M 3 /day (3,745 GJ/day) of gas under the Gas Purchase Contract for the 1999/2000 gas contract year. The Commission accepts BC Gas’ request to maintain the contract documents as confidential.
