("WKP") filed a Transmission Access Application, seeking approval of wholesale transmission access and retail transmission access for its largest customers; and B. In its Application, WKP requested interim approval of Tariff Supplement #7 (Terms and Conditions) and of rates as set out in Rate Schedules 100 - 108 for use by eligible customers seeking Wholesale Transmission Access as defined in Tariff Supplement #7 (Eligible Customers) excluding customers served under Rate Schedule 31, as of MarchÊ21, 1998; and C. WKP requested that the Commission direct that a Consultative Committee be established with a mandate as set out in Tab 10 of the Application as of the date of the interim approval; and D. WKP requested that the Commission direct that WKP qualifies as an Eligible Customer, pursuant to the terms of Tariff Supplement # 30 of the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority, and may access the Wholesale Transmission Services as of the date of the interim approval. . . ./2

The Commission grants interim approval of Tariff Supplement #7 (Terms and Conditions) and of rates as set out in Rate Schedules 100 - 108 for use by eligible customers seeking Wholesale Transmission Access as defined in Tariff Supplement #7 (Eligible Customers) excluding customers served under Rate Schedule 31, as of March 21, 1998. 2. The deadline for registering as an Intervenor or Interested Party in this proceeding is Friday, April 17, 1998. 3. A prehearing conference will be held on Thursday, April 23, 1998. The exact time and location will be announced at a later date. 4. WKP is to publish, in display ad format, in the Business Section of the Vancouver Sun and Province and in local community newspapers, the attached Appendix A - Notice of Prehearing Conference, by Friday MarchÊ27, 1998 or as soon thereafter as possible.
