On March 23, 1998, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainable Energy Policy (ÒAASEPÓ) applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (ÒB.C. HydroÓ) Wholesale Transmission Services (ÒWTSÓ) Application proceedings; and B. The Commission Panel (Òthe PanelÓ) determined that the participation of AASEP in the B.C. Hydro WTS proceedings required reimbursement in accordance with the criteria and rates set out in the approved guidelines that were appended to Commission Order No.ÊG-103-96 (Òthe GuidelinesÓ); and C. The Panel discussed the AASEP application and determined that its request for funding, with respect to the consultantÕs fee, was excessive given the value of the evidence to the hearing. Therefore, the consultantÕs fee was reduced to reflect two-thirds of the cost or $9,995.93; and D. Commission Order No F-8-98, issued on June 30, 1998, contained a miscalculation in the final award. . . ./2
2 NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Panel awards an additional $875 to AASEP for its participation in the B.C.ÊHydro WTS proceeding. B.C.
