Ostergaard, Chair ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair ) P.G. Bradley, Commissioner ) March 18, 1999 K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On December 16, 1998, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainable Energy Policy (“AASEP”) applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the West Kootenay Power Ltd. (“WKP”) 1998 Transmission Access Application (“TAA”); and B. On December 17, 1998, the Consumers Association of Canada (BC Branch) et al. (“CACBC”) applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the WKP TAA; and C. On December 24, 1998, the Joint Industry Electricity Steering Committee (“JIES”) applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the WKP TAA; and D. The Commission has discussed the claims having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-97-98. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds as set out below for participation in the WKP TAA proceedings: AASEP $12,317.83 CACBC $17,230.76 JIES $11,123.87 . . ./2
