On February 19, 1999, the Consumers Association of Canada (BC Branch) et al. (“CACBC”) applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the West Kootenay Power Ltd. (“WKP”) Access Principles Application (“APA”); and B. On March 11, 1999, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainable Energy Policy (“AASEP”) applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the WKP APA; and C. On March 11, 1999, CBT Power Corp. applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the WKP APA; and D. On March 12, 1999, Joint Industry Electricity Steering Committee (“JIES”) applied for a participant assistance cost award for its participation in the WKP APA; and E. The Commission has discussed the claims having regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-97-98. . . ./2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds as set out below for participation in the WKP APA proceedings: AASEP $9,624.10 CACBC $15,314.50 JIES $14,416.91 2. WKP is directed to reimburse these parties for the total amount awarded in a timely fashion. 3. The request for a participant assistance cost award made by CBT Power Corp. is denied.
