Ostergaard, Chair ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair ) July 29, 1999 B.L. Clemenhagen, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On July 20, 1999, Federated Pipe Lines (Western) Ltd. (“Federated”) filed with the Commission an application to amend the Rules and Regulations (“the Rules”) of its Crude Petroleum Tariff on the Taylor to Kamloops Pipeline, effective September 1, 1999; and B. The revisions to the Rules, in Clause 12 – Evidence of Receipts and Deliveries and Clause 21 - Liability of Carrier, have been communicated to all shippers on the crude oil pipeline; and C. The Commission has considered the application and finds that approval is required. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 44 of the Pipeline Act, the Commission approves for Federated amendments in Clauses 12 and 21 of the Rules of its Crude Petroleum Tariff, effective September 1, 1999. The approved revised Rules are subject to review by the Commission following receipt of a complaint by shippers on the pipeline. 2. Federated is to deliver a copy of this Order and the amended Rules to all shippers on the pipeline. DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this 10 th day of August 1999.
