On April 14, 1999, Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited (“PLP”) applied, pursuant to Section 61(4) of the Utilities Commission Act (“the Act”), for Commission approval to pass-through increases in costs beyond the Companys effective control; and B. The application requested that certain identified cost increases be collected from customers through an increase in the Customer Service Charge; and C. The Commission has reviewed the application and is not convinced that the cost increases should be recovered solely through the Customer Service Charge; and D. Included in PLPs application were costs associated with the amortized loss on the Similkameen River Hydro Project, the recovery of which in any rate increase was previously disallowed by Commission Order No. G-61-96. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for PLP an increase in revenue requirements of $10,716, to be applied across the board to the Customer Service Charge and the Customer Access Charge, effective June 1, 1999. 2. PLP is to notify customers of the rate increase and to file with the Commission amendments to Electric Tariff rate schedules in accordance with this Order.
