Ostergaard, Chair ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair ) August 12, 1999 B.L. Clemenhagen, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On July 30, 1999, Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. (“Centra Gas”) filed with the Commission Agreements with PG&E Energy Trading Canada Corp. (“PG&E”), Enron Canada Capital and Trade Resources Canada Corp. (“Enron”), Engage Energy Canada L.P. (“Engage”), and Duke Energy Trading and Marketing, L.L.C. (“Duke”) for the winter seasonal supply of gas for the 1999/2000 gas contract year in accordance with its 1999/2000 Gas Contracting Plan (“the Agreements”); and B. The Commission has reviewed the Centra Gas filing and is satisfied that the Agreements are in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Rules for Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts for filing for Centra Gas the following natural gas supply agreements: 1. The July 13, 1999 Agreement with PG&E for up to 5,000 GJ per day of seasonal gas from December 1, 1998 through February 28, 2000. 2. The July 30, 1999 Agreement with Enron for up to 5,275 GJ per day of seasonal gas from December 1, 1998 through February 29, 2000. 3. The July 19, 1999 Agreement with Engage for up to 21,102 GJ per day of seasonal gas from November 1, 1999, through February 29, 2000. 4. The June 30, 1999 Agreement with Duke for up to 6,000 GJ per day of seasonal gas from November 1, 1999, through March 31, 2000. Centra Gas is to file fully executed forms of the Agreements in a timely fashion. DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this 25 th day of August 1999.
