On March 22, 2000, Bull, Housser & Tupper applied for a participant assistance cost award on behalf of Methanex Corporation for participation by Methanex’s financial consultant in proceedings concerning the Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (“PNG”) 2000 Revenue Requirements Application; and B. Given the exceptional circumstances and the extensive collaboration with other customer groups, the Commission has determined that the participation of Methanex’s consultant in the proceedings warrants reimbursement in accordance with the Commission’s guidelines; and C. The Commission has reviewed the application with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-97-98. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to Methanex Corporation in the amount of $11,720.78 for its financial consultant’s participation in the above PNG proceedings. 2.
