Ostergaard, Chair ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair ) P.G. Bradley, Commissioner ) May 4, 2000 K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On April 27, 2000, Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. (“Centra Gas”) applied to the Commission for approval to decrease rates to Pioneer Apartment Class Customers (“ACR-1”) effective June 1, 2000, pursuant to the Special Direction and the terms of the Vancouver Island Natural Gas Pipeline Act; and B. As a result of lower competitive fuel oil prices in its service area, the oil-based natural gas rates to Centra Gas’ ACR-1 customers are proposed to decrease between 2.29 and 2.66 percent effective June 1, 2000; and C. The requested rate decreases for ACR-1 customers are in accordance with the ACR-1 rate change methodology established by Commission Order No. G-10-99; and D. The Commission has reviewed Centra Gas’ April 27, 2000 application and finds that a decrease in rates to ACR-1 customers should be approved. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders the following for Centra Gas: 1. A decrease in rates, effective June 1, 2000, to ACR-1 customers of between 2.29 and 2.66 percent is approved. 2.
