The Commission, by Order No. C-4-00, approved a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for Stargas Utilities Ltd. (“Stargas”), formerly known as Silver Star Mountain Resort Utilities Ltd., to operate a natural gas distribution system at the resort community of Silver Star. The Commission, by Order No. G-34-00, approved interim rates for gas service to Stargas customers and required the utility to file a detailed application for permanent rates; and B. On May 31, 2000, Stargas filed for Commission approval general Terms and Conditions of Service including Definitions and Schedules of Standard Fees and Charges and Administrative Charges. Stargas responded to Commission staff comments and refiled a revised Natural Gas Tariff on June 16, 2000; and C. On June 28, 2000, Stargas applied to the Commission for approval to pass through higher natural gas rates as a result of increased natural gas charges from its supplier, BC Gas Utility Ltd., effective July 1, 2000; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Natural Gas Tariff rate schedules and Terms and Conditions of Service for Stargas and finds that approval is required. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Sections 58, 60 and 61 of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves and accepts for filing for Stargas, the June 16, 2000 Natural Gas Tariff containing Definitions and Terms and Conditions of Service, effective October 1, 1999. . . ./2

The Commission approves for Stargas on an interim basis subject to refund with interest, the Standard Fees and Charges Schedule and the Administrative Charges Schedule, effective October 1, 1999. 3. The Commission approves on an interim basis, subject to refund with interest, the June 28, 2000 Stargas application for increased gas cost recovery charges, effective July 1, 2000. 4. Stargas is to inform all customers of the new interim rates, effective July 1, 2000, by way of a customer notice.
