On November 18, 1997, the Commission, by Order No. G-114-97, approved for British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“B.C. Hydro”) its revised Real Time Pricing (“RTP”) Application applicable to Rate Schedules 1848, 1844 and 1288; and B. On April 26, 2000, B.C. Hydro applied to the Commission for approval of a January 25, 2000 RTP Supplementary Agreement with Sterling Pulp Chemicals, Ltd. (“Sterling”) for its plant at North Vancouver, B.C., under Rate Schedule 1848, with a 50 percent Customer Baseline Load (“CBL”) reduction for the period May 1, 2000 to October 31, 2000; and C. Under the continuing rate freeze legislation, any potential revenue shortfall to B.C. Hydro will not impact the rates of other customers; and D. The Commission has reviewed the information submitted and finds that approval of the RTP Supplementary Agreement for Sterling is appropriate and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for B.C. Hydro the January 25, 2000 Supplementary Agreement with Sterling for RTP service under Rate Schedule 1848, with a 50 percent CBL effective for the six-month period commencing May 1, 2000 and ending October 31, 2000.
