Ostergaard, Chair ) B.L. Clemenhagen, Commissioner ) September 21, 2000 K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) N.F. Nicholls, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. The Commission, by Order No. G-32-89, approved for West Kootenay Power Ltd. (“WKP”) a July 1, 1987 Power Purchase Agreement (“the Power Purchase Agreement”) with Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited (“PLP”) that provided for the supply of electricity by WKP to PLP commencing July 1, 1987. The electricity supplied would be in accordance with rates approved under WKPs Wholesale Service; and B. On September 14, 2000, PLP and WKP filed with the Commission for approval a February 2000 Amending Agreement to the Power Purchase Agreement for the Supply of Electricity Wholesale Service by WKP (“the Amending Agreement”); and C. The Amending Agreement will allow PLP to be supplied through WKPs 56 Line Tap on British Columbia Hydro and Power Authoritys Transmission Line 1L 251 at Princeton, B.C., effective February 2, 2000, for a period of ten years; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Amending Agreement and finds that it should be approved. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for WKP and PLP the Amending Agreement for the supply of wholesale electricity by WKP to PLP for a period of ten years, effective February 2, 2000.
