Nicholls, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On August 10, 2000, BC Gas Utility Ltd. (“BC Gas”) filed an application to increase the reference price used in the Revelstoke Propane Cost Deferral Account from $0.1436/litre to $0.2222/litre, effective September 1, 2000; and B. BC Gas also applied to pass-through an increase of $3.180/GJ, effective September 1, 2000, to recover the forecasted increase in the cost of propane from September 1, 2000 to August 31, 2001; and C. The Commission has reviewed the application and finds that approval is necessary. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. An increase in the reference price used in the BC Gas Revelstoke Propane Cost Deferral Account, from $0.1436/litre to $0.2222/litre, is approved effective September 1, 2000. 2. An increase of $3.180/GJ, to recover the forecasted increase in the cost of propane for the period September 1, 2000 to August 31, 2001, is approved for BC Gas, effective September 1, 2000, pursuant to Section 61(4) of the Utilities Commission Act. 3. BC Gas is to provide the Commission with a draft copy of its proposed information brochure to be sent to customers along with a communication plan for the community, in advance of its release.
